It’s the HUMP! The arduous hill. It seems like a steep mountain but it’s really just a simple hump you need to get over.
What am I talking about?? My pictures are the result of over 1 year. The hard part was getting over the hump. But once that happens….it’s cruise control from there.
How do you get over that hump? And does it have to be painful? Let’s see…
✸Have a solid plan where you don’t feel deprived (you still get to eat your favorite foods & drinks).
✸Stick to that plan 100% for at least 2 weeks.
✸Surround yourself with people that are cheering you on.
✸Be patient.
✸Trust the process.
✸Live your life!
The answer is NO….it does not need to be painful. In fact it was the easiest plan I have ever done!!! And I’m still living it. I eat & drink whatever I want. I’m working out LESS than I have in decades!
Wish I could go back and tell my earlier self to stop the madness of dieting & restriction. Not too mention the additional time spent in the gym because I binged over the weekend. So much wasted time. BUT….I can’t go back. I can only look forward. And it FEELS DAMN GOOD!!
This time I’m taking people with me. Teaching all the things to help as many as possible how to have FOOD FREEDOM! How to feel your best at any age. It’s not hard. Most say it’s way easier than they had anticipated!
You just have to get over that hump!
Starting April 4th we will be doing another 30 Day Fat Loss Cut. You will learn all the techniques to get you over that hump. It’s only $10.
GET IN: 30 DAY FAT LOSS CUT

Those little bites and nibbles DO COUNT! In fact…they can add up quick especially if this is a repeated behaviour. This could be what’s derailing your fatloss efforts.
You have some choices:
A. Plan your snacks and only eat what you have planned.
B. If snacks make you want to snack more…..eliminate them and have more volume at your meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
C. Ignore the above and stay frustrated.
IT’S YOUR CHOICE!

Baffles me every time I see a magazine or an ad with a fitness person or celebrity and the workouts that gave them their hot body. NO….the workouts did not give them that hot body! Their nutrition is what gave them that body!!
You see, the workouts can definitely help sculpt & shape your body but you aren’t going to see that definition unless you drop the bodyfat. And what you are putting in your mouth has a HUGE role in that.
If you want a body like that….the workouts are an accessory to your nutrition plan. Workouts alone more than likely are not going to get you there.
If you really want to make some sustainable progress & discover your lean hot body, start in this order:
1. Get a customized nutrition plan based on your body and activity level (ie; find out how many calories & macros you need to get to your goal).
2. Drink at minimum 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water (example: you weigh 150, drink minimum 75oz water per day).
3. Based on your activity level, average 5,000-12,000 steps per day (this will vary based on the individual).
4. Incorporate an exercise program that includes resistance training.
#1 should be nutrition! Get that right and the rest is much easier.
Need help with that? We got ya covered. Your custom nutrition plan can be devised here: MACRO COACHING

☘️Leftover corned beef from St. Patty’s Day? Seems like everyone does corned beef hash (which I love also), but I thought we would do something a little different around here! This hearty calzone will make a satisfying lunch or even quick weeknight dinner!
Irish Calzone
(Makes 4 servings)
For the dough:
- 1 3/4 cups self rising flour
- 1 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
- 1 egg, whisked
For the filling:
- 2 oz. shredded cabbage
- 2 oz. shredded carrots
- 12 oz. corned beef, diced
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 oz shredded dubliner cheese (sub any sharp cheddar cheese)
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 2 Tbsp. deli mustard
Preheat oven to 400℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking oil. In a mixing bowl, stand mixer or food processor, combine flour and yogurt until a thick dough forms. With floured hands, form into a ball and place on a floured surface. (This can be done ahead of time; wrap ball of dough in plastic wrap and store refrigerated overnight, or up to 3 days.) Using a floured rolling pin, roll into into a rectangle about 12″X 17″. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut rectangle into 4 equal portions. Lay out on the prepared baking sheet. In a medium bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, corned beef, pepper and cheese. Scoop about 4.5 oz. of the mixture into the center of the dough portions on the baking sheet, leaving about a 1/2-inch border. Fold the dough over in half and fold bottom edges up around the top edges, pinching to seal so the filling doesn’t come out. Brush tops with egg and cut a few small slits on the top of each pocket allowing steam to vent out. Sprinkle thyme over the tops. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve with mustard for dipping.
